Tank Linings and Coatings
Our tank repair and refurbishment projects are assessed on the tanks condition, content, location and logistics. We have a vast range of tank linings and coatings designed for refurbishing the surfaces of your leaking, deteriorating tanks, using fibreglass, polyurea and epoxy resin products.
Our industrial tank linings and coatings are applied in situ, gloss finished for ease of cleaning and light in colour for easy inspection, both essential in the prevention of bacterial growth, safeguarding and maintaining the quality of your liquids and solids while simultaneously restructuring your storage tanks and vessels.
Creating a tank within a tank, our systems form a complete and seamless homogenous lining. This lining will extend the life of your tank and provide the long term cost effective alternative to replacement. With good preparation our linings and coatings can be applied to concrete, galvanised and mild steel, GRP, polypropylene, woods, cast iron and previously painted surfaces etc.
Our linings and coatings repair and protect bulk storage, sprinkler, settlement and effluent tanks, wet risers, cargo holds, aquariums, vats, silos, troughs, channels, cooling towers and wet wells etc.
For the containment of drinking and potable water, foodstuffs, beverages, acids, effluents, fuels and heavy oils, diesel and chemicals in bulk storage etc
Polyurea the latest development in durable lining systems
Using our ’thermoplastic’ lining system based on polymer technology your tanks, water treatment works, reservoirs etc., can often be put back into service the same day, reducing downtimes productivity and overall costs etc.
The spray applied Polyurea can be built up to any thickness in one application creating a self supporting seamless membrane ‘tank within a tank’, of between 1 - 10mm.
The elastomeric properties make polyurea the perfect solution to your lining requirements.
• Rapid cure therefore quick return to service
• 100% solids - solvent free - Odourless - zero V.O.C.’s
• Self supporting monolithic membrane
• Excellent mechanical properties with high tensile strength and flexibility
• Chemical and abrasive resistant
• High thermal stability
• Crack bridging capabilities with resistance to substrate movement
• Excellent adhesion to most surfaces
• WRAS and USDA approved
Our product range has been developed to fully support our client’s needs, they hold approvals and standards set by WRC, DWI and WRAS for contact with water and the
USDA and FDA for contact with food and beverages
Our bund and tank lining systems are compliant with the current
Pollution Prevention Guidelines (PPG2) and SEPA regulations.
